Transforming Rural Healthcare
The Thirumalai Mission Hospital is embarking on an ambitious project to expand the medical services and further bridge the disparity in the availability of health services between the Urban and rural populace. All projects initiated by TCT over the last 50 years have been based on the needs of our surrounding communities as expressed at the grassroots to our field team.
Ranipet was designated an independent district in 2019 after a trifurcation of the Vellore district. However, the healthcare infrastructure has not grown beyond Vellore town and its suburbs- 40 minutes to an hour away from most rural centers of Ranipet. There is an emerging need for critical care and advanced surgical interventions that are more accessible and affordable to the communities that we serve.
